A lot goes into making a charrette successful. One thing that must not be overlooked is the supply cache. The two checklists below give a breakdown of the supplies neccessary for a charrette. The article titled "Galileo" Charrette Studio Checklist lists the supplies neccessary for a paper-based charrette. The article that follows, entitled "Stephen Hawking" Charrette Studio Checklist is a supplement to the first checklist, and lists the extra supplies needed for a charrette which relies heavily upon technology.
